Our Story

How it all begun...

The automobile engineering department of st. Joseph's technical school, Saboba is one of the VOCTECH resource centres which was established in 2002 / 2003 academic year. It was then known as motor vehicle mechanics (MVM) until later the authorities changed the name to automobile Engineering. The programme started with six students and two teachers.

Vision Statement

Promote sustainable TVET activities in students

The vision of the department is to promote a sustainable technical and vocational education and training (TVET) activities by ensuring quality delivery of skills and knowledge to learners. We also envisage to incorporate driving school in the near future to further equip graduates with more employable skills.

Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission to the program is the basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
